In society, we're used to placing alot of pressure

In society, we're used to placing alot of pressure on ourselves to be some kind of ideal version for others and even for ourselves.
.
I've noticed for myself, i'm a person with clear goals that I set and usually clear deadlines... (notice how they're called deadlines) ... I witness how sometimes the pressure to accomplish said tasks can be overwhelming and lead towards a crippling self concept.

So lately i've been having a shift in the way I "flocus" or go about balancing self care + usual human maintenance + social life + family life + entrepreneur juggling games of content creation + posting + marketing + sourcing new clients and companies to promote.

I've been learning the art of productivity by meeting myself with where i'm at instead of just feeling inner pressure and crippling under it.

I decided to write lists which categorize tasks that I can do while I "chill" i.e maybe making digital products while listening to music or even watching a show...

Or posting content... etc.

vs. active work ---> such as photoshoots, massage, yoga classes etc.

I've figured out when in my cycle i'm best to be "out there" actively and when i'm meant to hermit and do tasks that require less energy from me.

We can all come to learn our ebb and flow to optimise productivity and rest.

A big part of it is discerning my interactions with others and how much energy they demand from me + what they provide for me.

My social life used to fuel me in my 20's but as I've grown older, i've realised how I get alot more work done when I take time to hermit and focus + rejuvenate and then use my ovulation time to socialise, network + do photoshoots + shoot episodes... etc.
.
Learning my own cycles has greatly helped reduce inner pressure from all the voices in my head telling me to become a better daughter and friend and woman.

Instead, I haven't focused on improvement but rather yet, progression at any pace.
.
I'm prove meant.
I prefer not to prove to myself that i'm worthy by what how much I can create.. but in how delighted I feel in creating.
.

This shift has helped me rise to certain challenges with enough recuperation to optimise growth.

I’m not gonna lie, I went blonde as a coping mechanism LOL.

I hadn’t done that since being a teen .:: but it began in quarantine . #blameitonthepandemic #jk

This year I continued learning the art of coloured hair instead of 9 years of untouched natural hair ( and then henna and indigo, boy was that fun cutting out of my hair.)
It got bleached and a bit fried so … I’m nursing it back with good hair care and stoked to possibly work as an affiliate for some natural shampoo brands in the future. Got mad love for humanity.

It's that time right before new years when everyon

It's that time right before new years when everyone is doing their recapitulation work 😛 *laughs in therapy* ...

I mean, everyone is looking back on the past year and how much they've grown and then looking forward to creating new versions of themselves.
.
Someone asked me what my new years resolution is .. They then knew my answer wasn't going to be typical.
.
I said no re-solutions for me, just solutions.
.
Personally, I don't follow a gregorian calendar and tend to celebrate my new years in october but I do buy bitcoin every new years eve for fun (because a few years ago I did this and made tons of $)
.
I like focusing on progression but I do this all throughout the year.

I do find it cute, however.. how many of us use new years as motivation to become that "new version" of ourselves.

I just want to put it out there that while society may pressure us females to "glow up" ... remember to do it for yourself, not to prove your worth to others.

If you wanna diet, do it for health.
If you wanna travel, do it for experience.
.
Often, we get caught in a web of trying to become better while not enjoying where we are in this very moment.

Love yourself, even if it looks like excitement towards better habits for your own self love.

Love yourself even if you aren't where you want to be. Look at where you are... still participating in an impermanent and rare mystery 😉

Been integrating my inner child lately into my adulting as I figure out how to build different means of passive income through e-courses, affiliated marketing, sponsorships, dropshipping products (e-commerce) and continuing to work on my albums @queanofthegreen all while looking into different agencies to work with as a model. I reflect on my childhood and how I am still the fashionista beach bum that i've always been.

I've been in a balance of getting alot of work done (as I do in the winter) and also taking time for stillness, integration and rest whenever I can.

Basking... and tasking.
.
I've learned to simplify my life and zero in on my goals, have few close friends and also take time to develop my outer community through my dharma itself.

Dharma > Drama seems to always be my compass.

Dharma is about creation + syntropy.
I understand Drama (the focus on the emotional process of tragedy, romance and comedy) within this existence.. but I learn to prioritize my focus through it/ around it/ within it.

When the array of human emotions and storylines arise, I learn to channel them to the dharma rather than to distract myself from it.

It's a quest being an emotional and mental and elemental human but slowly, as I mature I learn how to redirect my focus and to study myself as the common denominator to my own problems I've overcome.

I then use that as fuel to create more focus and more dharma.
.
After recording the harmonies for the musical, I look forward to launching a fundraising campaign.

I also recently got the files for #Quean and look forward to recording the harmonies for that album as well.

I am finishing 2 years of filming for my giant breath-work e-course and will focus my energy on more green beauty content as I look to collaborating with organic and cruelty free products as a green beauty influencer.

Nothing can ever replace the beauty of nature. Of

Not. A.I... nothing.

It's a strange age we are entering.

I've sat alot with fear and realised how the stronger my center is.. the less I fear that I will somehow be "taken over" by a.i ..

Because, consciousness itself is eternal and pure under any technology that anyone could program.

I look towards the day and age where we use technology to solve our issues with our environment rather than to cause them.

I look towards sustainability and for answers towards our earth's problems that we have caused.

That's my prayer.

We must see a shift in human values and find a way to merge our technology with nature.

It is hypothesised that in lemuria , there was technology once that by far superseded what we have today.
It was used for telekinetic connections and to strengthen our bonds with our natural environment.

I pray that we focus on how we are directing all of this technology rather than focusing on the divisions of thoughts + opinions.

Divide and conquer has always been the game of distraction.
While we hyperfocus on a.i art... there are bills about to be passed about our ability to freely use the internet and there are forests which are at risk of being cut...

so remember that you are infinite and that time is art.... use it wisely...
