ONCE UPON A DREAM
My “Opus” that I have been working on for over a decade is a “Dubstep Fairytale Musical” about E.D.M festival culture.
It has been written (librett), illustrated and recorded.
The musical itself is a collaboration with a brilliant producer known as “Inner Forest”.
“Time is Art”
The mayans taught me this saying. Since I was a young girl, art moved me.
I’ve delved into many realms of artistic creation.
Paint, charcoal, drawing, sculpture, directing, filming, editing, modelling, dancing, acting, performance art, writing, etc.
Most of my nomadic days were funded through my artistic talents of body painting, wire-wrapping, singing and modelling.
Performance Art
As an artist, my aim is to move the human psyche through the art of provoking.
My favourite performing art piece was for Miki Aurora’s launch of “Dystopia”
The setting was a dystopian dance party filled with cyborg looking folk. An eerie bathtub filled with mud haunts the dance floor. In the middle of the night, a light shines bright as I sing on stage as a “new-age” goddess.
The crowd anticipates my every move as a shamanic drum beat begins.
“I am not a goddess” I chant as slowly, I fall into the bath tub of mud and begin contorting, crawling and looking in a mirror while I smear lipstick all over myself to images of “ideal” beauty portrayed by the media is projected onto the walls.
